 Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Adelaide
Arrive into Adelaide airport and transfer by private car to your choice of exquisite and unique Heritage accommodation. Overnight: Adelaide, The Friendly Meeting Chapel, Bishops Garden, or Fire Station Inn (to name a few) for 1 night

Day 2: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island
After a scenic flight to Kangaroo Island, you will be met by your guide. Today’s touring is a private charter and will be tailored to your interests. Visit Seal Bay and walk among the sea lions sleeping and playing on the beach, or wander through the Redgum forest and seek out koalas in the wild. Enjoy an elegant picnic lunch in the bush or on the cliff-tops. The day is completely flexible! Arrive at your luxurious accommodation and enjoy a magnificent dinner and relaxing evening. Overnight: Southern Ocean Lodge, Flinders Suite for 2 nights (B,L,D)

Day 3: Explore Kangaroo Island
Today, enjoy time at leisure on Kangaroo Island. With a multitude of activities on offer at Southern Ocean Lodge, you are able to do as much or as little as you please. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Kangaroo Island – Adelaide
Your guide will meet you this morning to continue your private touring. Perhaps visit Flinders Chase National Park, home to some rare and unique wildlife. See Admirals Arch and the Remarkable Rocks. After a delicious lunch and further exploration of this “zoo without fences,” fly back to Adelaide and return to your choice of Heritage accommodation. Overnight: Adelaide, The Friendly Meeting Chapel, Bishops Garden, Buxton Manor or Fire Station Inn (to name a few) for 2 nights (B,L)

Day 5: Barossa Valley Wineries Visit
The rich European heritage of Australia is embodied in the lifestyle of the Barossa. In the morning, admire stunning backdrops and panoramic views looking out onto the Barossa Valley. Enjoy lunch at a local café set back from the road and spend the rest of the day among the vineyards and wineries that make this area so popular and world-famous. (B,L)

Day 6: Adelaide – Port Douglas
Fly from Adelaide to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland (airfare not included) and be chauffeured along the picturesque coastal road to the seaside town of Port Douglas. Evening at leisure. Overnight: Peppers Balé, 1 Bedroom Sanctuary for 3 nights (B)

Day 7: Great Barrier Reef Experience
Cruise on a high-speed, luxury catamaran to the Great Barrier Reef for a day of adventure. Explore the magnificent reef as you snorkel, scuba dive (extra cost, own expense) or view the reef from a semi-submersible. A delicious lunch is included. (B,L)

Day 8: Relax in Port Douglas
Spend today as you please: action-packed or laid back. Soak up the sunshine on Four Mile Beach, stroll among the village shops, galleries and historic buildings. Play a round of golf, visit World Heritage listed Daintree and Cape Tribulation, or dine at one of the many fine restaurants and cafés along the waterfront. (B)

Day 9: Port Douglas – Sydney
This morning depart for Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney (airfare not included). Travel by private car to the award-winning Park Hyatt Sydney. Use the afternoon to explore the mecca of shops that surround the area and dine out in the city or at Park Hyatt Sydney’s “harbourkitchen &bar.” Overnight: Park Hyatt Sydney, City Harbor View Room for 3 nights (B)

Day 10: Sydney City Highlights
Take in Sydney’s famous sights. Travel to the historic Rocks area, Macquarie Street and Kings Cross. Stop in Sydney Harbor National Park for morning tea, then travel to South Head and stroll along cliff-tops. Later visit Bondi Beach and Centennial Park. The tour ends at Circular Quay at noon. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 11: Blue Mountains 4WD Wildlife Tour
Experience the magnificent Blue Mountains. Travel in a luxury vehicle from the bustling city to the serene Jamison Valley. Visit breathtaking lookouts and ancient Aboriginal sites in the Blue Mountains, away from the normal tourist crowds. Enjoy an Australian barbecue lunch, then admire the renowned Three Sisters rock formation from an exclusive vantage point. Visit a hidden valley and view wild kangaroos roaming the area (conditions permitting). Return to the city and spend the evening at leisure. (B,L)

Day 12: Depart Sydney
Depart your hotel and head for the Sydney Airport by private car to connect with your onward flight (airfare not included). (B)
